Nick Cree is the creator of the popular blog site “It shouldn’t happen to a volunteer” (ISHTAV) which has been active since June 9th 2017. 

When he finally made it back to the UK  he took up a career in IT and worked for two decades in the UK, US and Europe on IT projects both large and small and in various roles.  Back in his old stomping ground of Eilat he met and fell in love with a Danish girl and being the eternal traveller, eventually followed her back to Denmark. 
A Break from IT to raise their son gave him the chance to start writing and several novels have been written and prepared for publication. (More on this later)

The idea for the blog started life as an in-joke. It was supposed to be a private memoir for those who were on Kibbutz Erez  in 1987-1988 but someone let the cat out of the bag and it has been growing in popularity ever since. When he is not writing Nick also plays guitar and writes and records his own music.

Nick finally settled down in a quiet rural corner of Denmark where he lives with his family.
